You can find animated instructions within the app by pressing the menu button (in the top left of the screen) and then the How to play button.
The game area is divided into a few areas. At the start of a game, 28 cards are dealt into 7 columns, forming the tableau, and the rest of the deck is placed face down into a pile called the stock. There are 4 empty home stacks, each marked with a suit: Diamonds, Hearts, Clubs, Spades. The aim of the game is to build each of these home stacks up sequentially from Ace to King.
When moving cards, stacks must be built in descending order and alternating colours. If you have an empty column in the tableau, you must start that stack with a King. Multiple face up cards can be moved at once if they are in descending order with alternating colours (e.g 8H 7S 6H 5C).
If you run out of moves, tap on the stock to flip over more cards, which you can use to build your tableau or home stacks. Once all of the stock cards have been flipped, click on its outline to reset it.
If you get stuck, tap the hint button in the top right of the screen to see a move suggestion.
To end the current game and start a new one tap the new button in the bottom right of the screen.
Q: What is the difference between easy and hard modes?
A: In easy mode you draw 1 card from the stock at a time; in hard mode you draw 3 cards from the stock at a time.
